Search
The Grenoble Academy’s Education and Research Center on Fundamental Learning to Combat Inequalities in Schools (Pegase) is a pilot center for teacher training and educational research whose goal is to transform teaching practices from preschool through high school in order to strengthen the acquisition of fundamental knowledge and help reduce inequalities in the education system.
Topics:
Education, teaching.

Objectives

Its goal is to transform teaching practices from preschool through high school, grounding them more firmly in the findings of educational research and evidence of effectiveness, in order to strengthen the acquisition of basic knowledge and help reduce inequalities in the education system. The so-called “evidence-based” approach will be employed, within a resolutely two-way framework that takes into account the contributions of researchers to teachers and vice versa.

A key aspect of the cluster will be the establishment of collaborative research projects involving the various stakeholders, ranging from classroom teachers to laboratory researchers, including teacher educators.
