The Charter for an Open, Transparent, and Merit-Based Recruitment Policy (OTM-R)

The "HR Excellence in Research" award received by Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) guarantees an open, transparent recruitment policy based on the merit of researchers and teacher-researchers. In June 2023, UGA enshrined its commitments in a charter for an Open, Transparent, and Merit-based Recruitment (OTM-R) policy, which was presented and adopted within the university's councils.

The institution's recruitment policy is consistent with UGA's values, as defined in the strategic plan:
  • Openness to the world and to others: interdisciplinarity, creativity, a sense of place within the region and strong ties to the region, modernity, curiosity, hospitality, humanism, diversity.
  • Mutual respect: trust, diversity, transparency, and pluralism.
  • Integrity / ethical conduct / scientific ethics: freedom to research and share knowledge, freedom to create.
