QuanTEdu-France is a national program aimed at strengthening and accelerating training in quantum technologies to meet the objectives of the national strategy.
Topic:
Quantum technologies.
Background and Issues
QuanTEdu-France strengthens ties between academics from all disciplines, researchers, and local and national economic stakeholders. The goal is to implement concrete initiatives in initial and continuing education, the development of new platforms for hands-on training, public outreach and engagement, and training through research via an ambitious program of doctoral fellowships.
France 2030 Goal
Digital sovereignty.
Main Areas of Focus
QuanTEdu-France's initiatives can be categorized into four areas:
Education and Pedagogy
QuanTEdu-France focuses on developing tailored academic curricula and creating new educational tools to train students and prepare them for the challenges of quantum technologies.
Research and Innovation
The project supports training through research and technological development by funding doctoral contracts in the field of quantum technologies and funding internships.
Outreach and Public Education
Initiatives are being implemented to raise awareness of quantum technologies among the general public and younger generations. Collaboration between the scientific community and the arts or science communication sectors makes it possible to offer original formats for public education (exhibitions, science theater, educational posters).
Promotion and Partnerships
QuanTEdu-France aims to connect the various stakeholders in the sector and foster the creation of dynamic ecosystems by organizing meetings between academics, industry representatives, and local stakeholders to promote exchanges and collaborations. These initiatives enable the structuring and pooling of efforts to ensure effective regional and national coordination among institutions and sector stakeholders, with international recognition and visibility.
