2025–2028 Action Plan for Gender Equality

A Commitment to a More Equitable University
Staff Life
The University of Grenoble reaffirms its commitment to building a university that serves as a model for equality, diversity, and inclusion. The 2025–2028 Gender Equality Action Plan builds on existing initiatives and opens up new avenues for creating a more equitable learning and working environment for everyone.
Developed collaboratively with the entire university community, this plan is organized around seven key areas aimed at advancing gender parity, combating discrimination, and promoting diversity in academic pathways.
  1. Ensure equal access for women and men to departments, ranks, and positions.
  2. Assess, prevent, and address pay and career disparities.
  3. Balancing personal and professional life.
  4. Combat gender-based and sexual violence, harassment, and discrimination.
  5. Ensure diversity in occupations and training programs.
  6. Taking action to promote women's health.
  7. Ensure a shared culture of equality and governance.
With this plan, we are pursuing a proactive and measurable policy that places gender equality at the heart of our university’s mission, our appeal, and our influence.
