Main Areas of Focus

To achieve its objectives, AMIES carries out initiatives such as:
  • PEPS programs, which provide simple and flexible funding for collaborative projects with the socio-economic sector.
  • SEMES programs that give businesses, nonprofit organizations, local governments, and other socioeconomic partners the opportunity to experience the benefits of mathematics as applied to a problem addressed by doctoral students over the course of a week.
  • The Business and Mathematics Forum, an annual national event that brings together all members of the French mathematics community (businesses, faculty and researchers, and mathematics graduates).
