Objectives

In light of the many challenges posed by environmental and societal changes, LabEx OSUG aims to study the conditions necessary for habitability by addressing four main questions:

  • What conditions are necessary for life to emerge and persist on a planet?
  • How can we take into account all the complex aspects of habitability on Earth?
  • How can we balance livability with limited resources?
  • How can we balance livability and natural hazards?
