The LaTêteDansLesNuages@UGA project aims to strengthen training programs for cloud-related IT professions. The goal is to help address the current shortage of professionals in these fields and to foster the development of cloud experts who will drive future innovations.
Topic:
Cloud
Background and Issues
To expand its cloud-based training offerings, the LaTêteDansLesNuages@UGA project is taking an innovative approach: pooling educational resources (courses, projects, tutorials) and cloud platforms for the Grenoble Academy’s IT training programs.
To attract more students to careers in cloud computing, the project is implementing outreach initiatives at middle and high schools in the Grenoble School District. In addition, the project emphasizes training for people seeking career transitions and continuing education by offering upskilling and reskilling modules.
With regard to training for non-expert audiences (students in higher education and administrative staff), the project proposes awareness-raising initiatives as well as the provision of dedicated MOOCs.

Main Areas of Focus
The LaTêteDansLesNuages@UGA project has four main objectives:
Strengthen the training of cloud technical experts by raising the level of expertise and training more experts.
To train non-experts in the widespread and informed use of the cloud (business and government audiences, students in service-sector vocational programs).
Expand UGA’s “educational clouds” service offering to train learners on the different types of clouds (private, public, sovereign).
Increase the appeal of cloud training programs.
