Governance

Université Grenoble Alpes is governed democratically with the participation of all staff, students, and external stakeholders. The president ofUniversité Grenoble Alpes, the executive board, the board of trustees, and the academic council are responsible for the university’s administration.
  • The Presidency
    Université Grenoble Alpes is led by the President, who is assisted in their duties by vice-presidents and project managers.
  • The Executive Board
    Chaired by the University President, the Executive Board of Université Grenoble Alpes drafts and proposes strategies that are submitted for discussion to the central councils.
  • The Board of Governors
    The Board of Governors determines the policy of Université Grenoble Alpes, elects its President, votes on the budget, and approves the accounts.
  • The Academic Council
    The Academic Council is composed of members of the Research Committee and the Committee on Education and University Life.
